Jouki Tikkanen (born 5 July 1995) is a Finnish rhythmic gymnast.
==Career==
Tikkanen was born in Vantaa, and started gymnastics at age 4; she was coached by Larisa Gryadunova from the age of 5. Since 2014 her coach has been Titta Heikkilä. Tikkanen began competing as senior in 2011 season. She won silver in all-around at the Finnish national championships and was the champion in three apparatus final (hoop, ball, clubs). Her first major competition was at the 2011 European Championships. She competed in her first Worlds at the 2011 World Championships where she finished 55th in all-around qualifications.
In 2012 Tikkanen won her first all-around Finnish champion title. She won also baal and clubs finals and was third with ribbon. At the end of 2014, she competed in Grand Prix series. In Berlin Masters GP she finished 6th in clubs and ribbon finals. In Brno she was 4th in ball final and 8th in ribbon final.
In 2013 Season, Tikkanen competed in the Grand Prix and World Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics Series. she started her competition at the 2013 Valentine Cup in Tartu, Estonia where she finished 12th in all-around and qualified to ball and clubs final. She also took part at the 2013 European Championships finishing 20th in all-around competition and at the 2013 World Championships in Kiev pacing 28th in all-around qualifications, missing out of the Top 24 finals. She was again the Finnish champion winning the all-around competition and hoop, clubs and ribbon finals.
In 2014, Tikkanen competed at the 2014 World Championships in Izmir, Turkey where she qualified for the all-around finals finishing in 17th position ahead of Ukrainian gymnast Viktoria Mazur. That is the best international achievement for Finnish rhythmic gymnast. Tikkanen competed in the 2014 Grand Prix and 2014 World Cup series. She had her highest placement finishing 14th in all-around at the Corbeil-Essonnes World Cup. She was again the Finnish champion winning the all-around competition and hoop, ball and ribbon finals.
In 2015, Tikkanen competed at the 2015 Bucharest World Cup and finished 17th in the all-around. In April 10-12, Tikkane finished 31st in the all-around at the 2015 Pesaro World Cup. Tikkanen competed at the 2015 Holon Grand Prix finishing 15th in all-around ahead of Belarusian Katsiaryna Halkina. Tikkanen qualified to 1 event final finishing 8th in ribbon. In August, Tikkanen finished 21st in the all-around at the 2015 Budapest World Cup. At the 2015 World Cup Final in Kazan, Tikkanen finished 23rd in the all-around behind Jana Berezko-Marggrander.
